Let’s talk pet photography! I really don’t see pet photography as much different than people photography. Really, a toddler & a dog have about the same attention span - very short!! My reaction time and shutter speed have to match the attention span of my subject. Add in few crazy sounds or squeaks and I usually get them to look at my lens… usually. :)

I’ve certainly done my share of photos of beloved pets but I’ve never done a “cake smash” session before. This turned out to be such a fun session!! Not only did Oscar love his cake but his other furry siblings got in on the action too!!

It’s always fun for me to see what my clients end up doing with their pictures. Not only did this client end up getting prints of each dog for her walls, she also used an online company to get stickers & keychains made. I’ve also ordered from this company and love my Capture Me stickers. No, I haven’t been paid by stickermule.com for this endorsement but I do highly recommend them. They have tons of ideas on their website so go check them out. Also, she printed her wall prints through samsclub.com!! I’m so impressed by the quality of these standout prints!! I would recommend Sam’s club as well!
